I attended The Eden Retreat Zanzibar in Nov 2024 and it was totally worth it! What I loved most about it is the community. I met a very eclectic group of women from different countries who have one heart- and that is Jesus. The scenery in Zanzibar was also so beautiful, it gave me the space to process things I was not able to process in my natural habitat. Eden Retreat is more than a moment, it's a whole movement.Doreen is such a great host, with a great heart and very patient. I will definitely like to attend future retreats!
There are many things that were a blessing at this retreat. Some of the things that stand out for me were the fun we had in the Ocean, swimming pool, and a sunset cruise - which was absolutely wonderful, calming and reinvigorating. I had the opportunity to go snorkeling, to dance with tortoises, and go swimming with Dolphins. The most intimate fun was engaging and learning from incredible women of God.So beautiful to have a safe space, which means you also relax and are able to pray together, share from the heart. You know that people are not judging you, they accept you and really create a wonderful ambiance to really spend time in the presence of God. We had breakfast, lunch dinner everyday, breakfast that was served at the villa was absolutely scrumptious, it was just incredible. We were filled spiritually, physically and also in our souls! It was just the break and the rest that I needed.I highly recommend people attend the Eden Retreat, they will never ever regret it, I certainly plan to come back
I flew in to join the Eden retreat Zanzibar 2024 from the UK. What I loved most about the Eden Retreat is the fact that it is just the escape that I needed.I knew I needed some down time, I needed some rest, and I was just blessed that someone in my community shared about the retreat with me. When I saw the retreat I prayed and felt complete peace to attend, and that led me to come. What I have also enjoyed so much is just the deep rest I have been able to experience. I knew Zanzibar was beautiful but to have been here with all these beautiful, powerful women and to encounter God like we have had, to be able to pray with each other and encourage one another, discuss and debate scriptures as well as explore the beauty and paradise that is Zanzibar has been such a blessing!
So glad I got the chance to join the retreat after such a busy year. I loved that I had the opportunity to unwind and connect with people intentionally and in a meaningful way. I was able to share the word of God, able to sing and dance, and be free. There was a lot of child-like spirit, which is such a beautiful thing to be around and feel. And that is what Jesus said that we have to have a heart like that of a child to please God. Eden Retreat gives you that opportunity to be wild, free and just enjoy the joy of the Lord. I came here having only known Doreen, and so it gave me the opportunity to make new meaningful relationships.I’m leaving the retreat having met people I know I’m going to work with for a long time in my life and business. As a leader of an organization, I believe that everything is connected. My participation at this retreat has not only impacted me, but also my organization in a big way. Our group retreats give you the opportunity to meet new people and connect with other like-minded particpants. You can bring a friend or attend solo! For our group retreats, we have specific travel dates and set itineraries.
No, participation in spiritual activities is optional. You can still enjoy all other aspects of the retreat, including adventure, wellness, and relaxation.
Our group trips typically range anywhere from 8 to 20 guests, depending on the style of the retreat and destination.
We welcome participants of all ages 21+ to join us on our group trips, and we have had women in their early twenties to late forties. Age ain’t nothing but a mindset.
You can pay for your retreat in full or in installments. To secure your spot, a deposit is required. Payment plans are flexible, allowing you to spread the cost into manageable amounts.
If the retreat is not yet full, you can still join by paying your deposit and catching up on the remaining payments.
We’re super flexible! Simply email info@edenretreat.co at least 60 days prior to the departure date of the retreat for which you are currently signed up, and we’ll help you switch retreats completely free of charge. Any payments you previously made will roll over to your new retreat.

Before embarking on your journey, it’s your responsibility to ensure you have all the necessary travel and health documents. Eden Retreat does not cover the costs associated with obtaining these documents or meeting health requirements. If you’re refused entry into a country or transportation due to lack of documentation or government policies, Eden Retreat won’t be responsible for reimbursement. We do not offer refunds for transportation delays or cancellations. Participants must comply with local regulations and their health and safety guidelines. Each destination has its own vaccination and testing requirements, so check government websites for details. Additionally, we recommend travelers to verify testing and health screening requirements for transportation and transit countries.
We’ll always do our best to accommodate diets, allergies, and dietary restrictions, just make sure to let us know. Prior to your arrival, we will send out an inquiry form to gather all the necessary information to prepare for the retreat.

Absolutely! Each retreat offers a unique experience, and many of our guests choose to return for different destinations.
We know that some months can be tougher than others. If you anticipate a late payment, just drop us an email at info@edenretreat.co and keep us in the loop! Please note that all payments need to be completed by the final deadline, and we kindly ask that you don’t miss two consecutive payments to secure your spot on the trip. We’re here to work with you!
